What the app accesses, and why:

• Live timing and telemetry data — fetched directly from Formula 1's public live timing feed, on your device. This data is not personal to you and is not sent anywhere by the app.
• F1TV login (optional) — if you choose to log in with your F1TV account to unlock additional telemetry, the login happens inside a secure in-app browser provided by F1TV directly. The app never sees or stores your username or password — it only retrieves the resulting access token, which is stored locally on your device in the iOS Keychain. This token is used solely to authenticate your own requests to F1's servers and is never sent to the developer or any third party.
• Track weather forecasts — the app fetches weather for the upcoming race circuit's fixed location via Apple's WeatherKit. Your own location is not accessed, used, or requested by the app.
• On-device processing — features like team radio transcription and AI-generated summaries/strategy explanations run entirely on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks (Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models, on-device speech models). No audio, documents, or personal data are sent to the developer or to any AI service over the network for these features.
